Who We Are

Digital Public Health & Health Geography is an expert group within The Swiss Society of Public Health, dedicated to advancing public health surveillance and monitoring through interdisciplinary collaboration.

Our central aim is to promote innovative work at the intersection of digital health, health geography, epidemiology, and population health monitoring in Switzerland.

We bring together members of the Swiss Society for Public Health who are engaged with digital technologies in prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and geospatial analysis.

To achieve this, we foster an active exchange between researchers, healthcare professionals, technology experts, health geographers, and affected population groups.

What We Do

Organize Webinars and Workshops: Host online seminars and workshops on key topics in digital health, digital epidemiology, health geography, and public health surveillance—such as digital tools for prevention, healthcare, rehabilitation, and geospatial analysis.

Organize Networking Events: Arrange networking opportunities to facilitate exchange between researchers, clinicians, patient organizations, and technology experts in digital health—fostering collaboration, trust, and interdisciplinary partnerships.

How to Participate

Invitations to events will be sent via email to members of the expert group. Other interested parties are welcome to contact the co-chairs or the office of the Swiss Society of Public Health for more information.
